About this project
Designed and developed a complete custom multi-event affiliate and promoter management system for Friends in Barcelona using Wix Studio, Wix Events, Velo, Wix CMS, Wix Members, and Wix Payments. The system works alongside the native Wix Events booking and checkout flow, allowing customers to purchase tickets normally while referral attribution, event eligibility, sales, commissions, payouts, refund reconciliation, and clawbacks are handled automatically in the background.

The client needed a scalable promoter system for hundreds of Wix Events without replacing the native Wix checkout. Referral attribution had to persist while visitors browsed the site, connect anonymous visitors to Wix Events reservations and completed orders, support different commission agreements per event and promoter, and correctly handle payouts and refunded orders.

Project outcome
The result
Built a complete affiliate management ecosystem integrated with the native Wix Events purchase flow. Promoters can distribute permanent or event-specific links and monitor their activity through a private portal, while administrators can manage event assignments, sales, commission rules, overrides, payouts, refund reconciliation, and clawbacks from a centralized dashboard. The end-to-end flow was validated through referral attribution, native reservations, real card payments, commission calculation, payouts, refunds, and post-payment clawback handling.
